The World Chambers Competition started in 2003 and is an integral part of the World Chambers Congress. Organized by the ICC World Chambers Federation, it is the only global award that recognizes the most innovative projects undertaken by chambers of commerce and industry. In highlighting the success of local initiatives, the Competition serves to inspire the creation of pioneering and beneficial chamber solutions for business communities worldwide.

As of August 30th, 2022, the submission platform for the World Chambers Competition is open and ready to receive all your innovative initiatives undertaken by chambers around the world.

Key dates:

30 August 2022 - World Chambers Competition application opening 
27 January 2023 - Deadline for submission
21-23 June 2023 - Project presentations
23 June 2023 - Competition winners’ announcement

Showcase your organization's originality, ingenuity, and gain international recognition for your commitment to supporting and strengthening SMEs. Applicants will receive a free Congress ticket, and a chance to win a 3,000€ cash prize!

Awards are given in 4 categories: Best partnerships project; Best gender-balance project; Best unconventional project; and Best Chamber Model Innovation project. This last category recognizes Chambers that have worked with the Chamber Model Innovation framework. the CMI enables Chambers to become resilient and forward looking by harnessing the power of data and designing services that meet customers' needs.
