Nuria Rull

Business Ecosystem and Networking Expert

Nuria heads the Institutional Ecosystem Mapping initiative at ITC. This methodology uses qualitative and quantitative data of business-support organizations in a given ecosystem to identify key interventions for economic development.  The mapping traces the cooperations, collaborations, and synergies between institutions, outlining how ecosystems can work in concert for the benefit of businesses and exporters.

Nuria also contributes to the development of institutional assessments, the delivery of capacity building activities, and the management of the Section’s performance measurement framework. Prior to ITC she worked for ICEX, Spain's Trade and Investment Promotion Organization, after being selected for its Talent Programme specialized in business internationalization. During her time at ICEX she worked as a Trade Adviser in Chinese Taipei, where she supported the expansion of exports and investments of Spanish SMEs into the Asian market. She has also worked for multinational companies as a marketing and business development analyst in the food and beverages industry in Spain.

Nuria holds a double degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Pompeu Fabra University which she combined with international exchanges at Bentley University and the University of St. Gallen. She also holds a Masters in International Corporate Management from CECO, the Spanish training center for Economic and Commercial State Officials.
