Associate Programme Officer

Lucie Debornes is working as an associate programme officer with the Institutions and Ecosystems section at ITC. Starting in 2019, she has worked with regional and national institutions in Africa and the Middle East region conducting assessments using the ITC Benchmarking methodology. She has contributed to the organization and delivery of capacity building activities aiming at improving managerial and operational capacity of Business Support Organisations in aspects ranging from strategy development, service portfolio design, customer relationship management, result measurement framework, among others. She has experience in managing and implementing projects championing more inclusive business ecosystems and supporting institutions to deliver more inclusive business support services.

Prior to joining ITC, Lucie has worked within a Spanish consultancy firm where she provided evaluation services for the European Union and other European and international organizations.

Lucie holds a Bachelor’s in management and politic economic from HEC Lausanne. She also holds a first Master’s in International relations and social economy from the Catholic Institute of Paris and a second Master’s in Economic expertise of development policies and projects from the University Pantheon Sorbonne.
